Project description:

The company has been using a flame lamination system for many years. Flame lamination is a process that involves passing foam over an open flame before bringing it into contact with textiles or other material to form a permanent compound. This process emits hydrogen cyanide and organic hydrocarbons, which are extracted by means of a fan and then fed into the exhaust air treatment system. In 2007, UGN installed the corresponding exhaust air treatment system which had to be extended in 2017 due to the installation of an additional production machine. Thanks to this modular extension, the company can keep and undercut the emission limits.
